The Look
Debra Edwards
Debra Edwards is a brilliant and highly creative Interior & Event Designer. Her ability to curate unique experiences with every intricate detail has allowed her to establish a lifetime impact on her clients. With over twenty-five years of industry experience, Debra creates designs that exceeds her clients' expectations. Although her expertise is founded in residential and commercial design, her prowess has simplified her transition into specialty events alongside home and holiday décor covering a vast range of styles.
Debra understands balance in design and works collaboratively with her clients to co-create using design elements that reflect her clients' personalities and suits their needs. She has an eye for detail, a superior sense of style, and a client-centered approach to all of her projects. Debra has revolutionized the standard and execution in our decor department.
Her previous experience serving as Head Designer for the Walt Disney Decor team, further solidifies her as a well-rounded designer. Debra’s unwavering passion further translated into her work as the Special Olympics California World Games Designer. She has worked as an Event Designer with several firms, including The Brand Group Marketing Firm and 180 Degrees. In addition, Debra has served as a Floral Designer, assisting clients and various brands such as Pierro Selvaggio's of Valentino, Kevin Hart, Ciroc Vodka, Dusse Cognac, Hennessy Brandy, and TTYL (Toast to young Hollywood) achieving their design and marketing goals. Her keen eye for creative design and delivering projects on time have been critical to her success.
The Cook
Ajaya Williams
With over 20 years in hospitality and a decade leading large-scale culinary production, Ajaya Williams is the Co-Founder and the powerhouse behind the catering division of The Look & The Cook LLC. She began her journey humbly at The Cheesecake Factory, building a strong foundation in high-volume service before advancing into technical French cuisine, classic steakhouses, and luxury catering companies—where she refined her skills as an event chef managing high-end, high-pressure activations.
Before launching her own brand, Ajaya built a reputation for delivering seamless, stylish events—combining culinary innovation with operational excellence. At The Look & The Cook, she now leads dynamic food productions for private clients, brand activations, and corporate functions serving anywhere from 25 to 5,000 guests at a time.
Her client portfolio includes HartBeat Productions, Live Out Live, Keller Williams Realty, CIROC, DeLeón Tequila, school district galas, and nonprofit initiatives. A recent professional milestone includes overseeing executive dining services for 600+ leaders at the grand opening of the Intuit Dome—one of Los Angeles’ most anticipated new venues.
Ajaya brings global perspective with a strong foundation in American bistro cuisine, a style that frees her to explore limitless flavor profiles. Still, her greatest passion lies in designing customized menus—curated with care and intention for every client. Whether executing a high-volume corporate event or an intimate affair, she leads with integrity, joy, and culinary excellence.
